Thurmont Library Grand Opening!

Grand Opening Celebration Thurmont Regional Library

Starring the United States Old Guard File and Drum Corps

“The Thurmont community has been looking forward to the opening of our new library with tremendous enthusiasm,” said Erin Dingle, Branch Administrator for the Thurmont Regional Library, who will manage the facility.
  “We hope that the new library will become a gathering place for people of all backgrounds and interests to discover and learn in a comfortable, accommodating atmosphere.”

The week-long Grand Opening Celebration has been underwritten by Woodsboro Bank, which also has a new bank branch opening in Thurmont on Saturday, August 2.

"We have a strong, growing customer base in the Thurmont area, and partnering with the new public library there is a natural fit for us," said Rick Miller, President and CEO of Woodsboro Bank.
